OH WHAT FUN! + SUMMER PLANS

The kids are out of school and that means I’ve got to get creative to keep them busy! It can be hard to find activities for your kiddos during the Summer months, but I’ve got a few ideas for you.

We love pool days around here but without a pool, it can be tricky. This is where waterslides and water activities come to the rescue! Some of our favorite activities are filling up water balloons and water guns, sliding down our new waterslide, and eating popsicles.

Beach trips are always a great way to refresh and unwind. We personally love to pick from one of the many Florida beaches, but you can always visit a local beach if you don’t want to make the drive! There’s something special about sand in your toes, the kids playing in the water, and sunkissed skin.

If beach trips aren’t your thing, staycations are the way to go! Our favorite local hotel to stay at is The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. If you’re planning your first staycation, do a little bit of research and ask around to get ideas and recommendations.
